Contaminated Land Investigation, Assessment & Advice

The Company has demonstrable track record and experience, vested in its founders and project team, with respect to helping industrial clients understand, rationalise and manage residual liability issues associated with contaminated land. At old industrial sites, where hazardous chemical storage and use is core to production, some contamination of land (including groundwater) is inevitable. Even smaller scale or simpler (e.g., Food & Drink) manufacturing sites can have a significant environmental footprint, particularly if they have protracted industrial heritage.

The Company is expert at designing and implementing targeted site investigation and assessment programmes to define the key aspects of concern, prioritising what really matters, and as needed negotiating (on behalf of the client) with regulatory authorities to ensure pragmatism prevails and to avoid unnecessary or too onerous corrective action.

Risk assessment is used to guide investigation programmes and ultimately the scope and focus of any corrective action programme, if required. This leads to more cost effective solutions.
