Ford Consulting Group Ltd provides professional services to clients, mainly based in the UK & Ireland. A specialist environmental consultancy practice, it was founded in 2005 by Dr. Marcus Ford and Jim Wragg and has its primary UK office in Northern England.

Our core competency is in understanding and solving contaminated land related issues, as well as providing broader environmental advice and expertise. We typically work with private sector clients to understand and effectively manage environmental liability within their business. Ford Consulting Group is a client focussed and solution oriented company. The founders' work ethic has always been to understand our client's business (and context) and help them prioritise their needs. We recognise that only so much can be done at one time and working closely with our client business leaders and management help them develop and implement an appropriate programme of action. In recent years UK & Ireland industry has had to become leaner (and more agile) to survive in the global manufacturing arena, something that has led to a general reduction of in-house technical support. Nowhere has this been more critical than in the area of contaminated land and residual liability (legacy) management. This is the gap that we seek to fill, providing personal, focussed advice to business leaders and decision makers, designed to manage out contaminated land legacy issues. |
